I’ve been a little surprised by how videos I’ve seen from Hawaii where people went to the beach to film it.

Prime example. I couldn’t resist saying something. Joe & I both grew up in the Pacific and it turns out we both got the same safety lectures when we were kids.
ps – You may’ve heard about it already but I posted a link to an article about the Olympia today.
They’ve shown a similar video about what could happen when that volcano off the west coast of Africa slides into the Atlantic sending a huge wave into our east coast.
I’d be more precise, but don’t feel like fighting with GMap’s advertising on the map.
(Hopefully Oahu doesn’t decide to build a nuclear reactor plant…)
